This past week Love Actually is celebrating its 10th Anniversary, I was so excited to found out about this since it is one of my favorite movies. I can't believe it's been ten years already, this is a movie that I watch every year over Christmas and sometimes just because. I love the different stories, the music, the characters, the actors, that is on Christmas and in London; it really has everything what is there to not like. If I have to choose a favorite part it would be when Mark goes to Juliet's house with the white written boards telling her that she's perfect, but there are so many the Prime Minister dancing all over his house with the son Jump!, the beginning when Billy Mack is singing and never get's the word Christmas right and Daniel, Sam watching titanic and trying to figure out how to win Joanna's love and also when the Prime Minister tells the President of USA why England it's the best country and will not tolerate to be bullied. I can't wait to watch again in the next few weeks and will love to buy the special edition for their anniversary this holidays while I'm in London, it would be the perfect combination!
“Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion’s starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don’t see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it’s not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it’s always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I’ve got a sneaky feeling you’ll find that love actually is all around.”
