Summer in NYC

I moved to NYC for the summer, I’ve been here for about three weeks now and it’s been quite interesting.

The first week was a little crazy moving in, starting my internship and having my grandma here with me. It was very fast passed and got to do lots of things, went to dinners at Serafina, Hillstone’s, Tao and many more all delish! Also, got to go to The Met and saw the Punk: Chaos to Couture exhibit, amaze! Had some macaroons at Laduree and of course my grandma’s last night we went to a Broadway show and saw Wicked, it was incredible, loved it!

The second week I got sick, food poisoning the first days and then cold/flu, that was not cool but that didn’t stop me. I went to Washington Square Park for a walk, went to dinner with an old friend from Boston to Cocoroto (Venezuelan restaurant), hanged out with my dog and went to the Renegade Craft Fair in Brooklyn where I got two cool necklaces and some vintage rings.

This week has been better, the internship is going great, I’m loving it! I been getting to know the Soho area always walking around there after I get out of work. Found an awesome shop, The Marketing, of local artists and designers and they have amazing things. This weekend was time to clean my apartment and do laundry, so I stayed in and watched some movies, tried the BudLight Lime-a-Rita (pretty good) and created my list of NYC, things I have to do and go (I always do that on my trips). Today, I when to Grand Central Terminal, it really is a beautiful place and has so many things, shops, food and travel. I bought some cupcakes in Magnolia Bakery that where so yum!

I can’t wait for this week to began I only have to go to work Monday and Tuesday so I have a lot of free time to do many things and start crossing them of my list!

Here are some photos from the last three weeks from Instagram and my phone.
